Whenever a nontoken, non-Angel creature you control dies, return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control with a +1/+1 counter on it. It has flying and is an Angel in addition to its other types.

Exile prevents dies triggersRules Note
'Dies' means 'put into a graveyard from the battlefield.' If a creature is exiled instead of dying (Swords to Plowshares, Rest in Peace), dies triggers won't fire. Tokens do trigger 'dies' abilities briefly before ceasing to exist.
